Massive wight off my shoulders

I was heavily in debt, avoiding creditors and constantly worried about how I was even going to be able to carry on living, that was untill my now fiancee pointing me in step changes direction. This turned out to be a good decision as they were brilliant! They didn't judge me and was very professional and friendly which put me at ease. Once they had all my income and out goings they came up with a few options, each was clearly explained to me and then I chose which way I want to go and an affordable payment plan was put in place. After almost two and a half years I've just over 6 months to go until I'm debt free!! From the minute I spoke with them it felt like a wight had been lifted off my shoulders..... Would highly recommend step change to anyone that needs help with their debts. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026
