I found myself in financial situation after a period...

I found myself in financial situation after a period of serious ill health and being ill health retired from work, this had a major impact on income and despite lifestyle changes still found it impossible to manage to keep up with outgoings, I decided to swallow my pride and give Step Change a call, I was given all the options available to me to help in the longer term and whilst it will take a few years to become debt free it has helped immensely and I feel more in control Reviewed on: 6th May 2026
