I was so embarrassed about getting into debt - it was keeping me awake at night and I couldn’t talk to anyone about it. The hardest step was the first one. Most if it was done online so I didn’t have to speak directly to anyone, but when I did have to speak to people they are honestly the kindest and most understanding, non-judgemental people.
