Debt Management Plan

I was referred to StepChange by the National DebtLine. StepChange have set up a Debt Management Plan for me. Their advisors over the phone are always able to answer any questions and to work with you to resolve any issues. Even when I've not been able to pay the full amount or my circumstances changed they are always understanding and they work with you on the next steps. They've dealt with all of the conversations with my creditors for me, except for one situation where they advised it would also be good for me to get in touch with creditors. Emails take a bit longer to hear back on, for more substantive conversations it's best to call them. Reviewed on: 9th May 2026
