I bank with Lloyds and recently needed to renew my home insurance so got a quote with them. While it wasn't the cheapest I could find, it gives me piece of mind and the staff contact has been good.

I went through a broker to find critical illness cover and they heavily recommended L&G for me. Have got to say the interaction with them so far has been superb.
