Don’t just agree (IVA), there is little help afterwards

3
I provided my income and expenditure and was informed that an IVA but best suit myself. The amount I could afford to repay was generated; however as a creditor would not agree and requested a further amount (in excess of £100 extra) I was forced to say yes and agree, knowing that I still would struggle as the reductions I was asked to make were mainly food shopping. Since the IVA has been in place, my food bill has increased as has the cost of fixing my car which is needed to travel to work, along with household bills, my rent has gone up by £150 per month, I notified StepChange of these increases as I was already struggling, StepChange decreased the amount I was paying ably around £80 per month, although this does not go anywhere to help me per month. I am still struggling to live and eat. The IVA is not helping me per month and I feel that I can not make contact to inform due to the way I was pressured into accepting the additional payment in the first place and then such a small decrease when I had no other choice but to raise the fact my bills and rent had increased. Although I now do not have creditors chasing me, I am no way financially better off, I feel trapped and constantly my scared by bills increasing and not eating enough, in order to try and save and make up the difference for the repayment.
