The hardest thing for me to do was pick up the phone and ask for help. I shouldn’t have worried as the first lady I spoke to was so kind, empathetic and understanding. After that everyone was so helpful. They listened to my struggles and to why I was in a financial mess and very slowly helped me to form a debt management plan. I cannot emphasise how much of a relief it was to know someone was willing to help me, and that I just needed to make one monthly payment to cover all my debts.
