Stepchange gave me breathing space.

I had lost my job as a supply teacher due to poor mental health and disability. My debts spiralled out of control as my finances were reduced to £75 per week. My mental health suffered greatly and I buried my head in the sand, avoided phone calls and the mountain of letters asking for money. Stepchange was actually suggested by one of my credit card companies. It changed my life. No more harassment for money that I could no longer earn, I could breathe for the 1st time in months.
