StepChange gave me back a positive future

I dreaded having to phone StepChange as I felt guilty and ashamed at getting myself in such financial difficulty. It was a last chance call. But oh am I glad I did. A lovely man quickly put me at ease and helped me to go through my monthly needs and how much I could easily afford towards my debts. Took so much pressure off me and I was able to look to a more positive future. Reviewed on: 27th May 2026
