Started using acorn community bank in 2025 March ahead of our holiday. As most, money is tight at the best of times but being able to borrow £500 with no worries on how we are going to pay the funds back, as this is deducted automatically from our child benefit payments. We were able to give our son the best holiday ever with no financial burden or extra monthly payouts. We took our second loan out in November just before Christmas which allowed us to treat him to additional gifts with no financial strain! Reviewed on: 2nd June 2026
