Don’t bury your head in the sand!

My personal circumstances changed beyond belief and beyond my control. From having everything to nothing. From having a fantastic credit file to it being destroyed practically. I was at rock bottom. Maxed out my credit cards to survive etc etc. more going out then was coming in. But I fought to keep going and tried to pay my monthly commitments. But it became impossible. My only option? Suicide. Yes suicide. That would end all this. I was rock bottom. Then one day I called StepChange. I broke down. Someone listened to me and understood what I was going through. I felt ashamed. Ashamed of what had happened to me - but also ashamed of thinking my only option was to die! They helped me sooo much. Looked at my situation and came up with a payment solution I could afford. Yes it’ll take years to pay back but at least they’re getting something - but more importantly life has more hope now. if you’re in a similar situation don’t be ashamed to seek help! It works!
