Potential PayPal Credit issues

PayPal Credit is generally very good, however when taking advantage of this service with 0% over 4 months, for whatever reason PayPal take the full amount on Month 1. Now this might be how I have set the PayPal credit service up with the D/D, but it was a bit of a surprise. I have also had it work the other way, where it didn’t take any money at all over the four months. assuming the service would split the value of the purchase over 4 equal payments. If PayPal could offer a practical guide to setting the payments up it would be very much appreciated. Reviewed on: 9th June 2026
