It has some drawbacks, including no welcome bonus, no introductory zero percent APR, a three percent foreign transaction fee that makes it unsuitable for travel, and the requirement to have a PayPal account. Overall, it is a nice, simple, rewarding card for people who regularly use PayPal and prefer straightforward cashback, but if PayPal is not part of your daily spending, you will likely earn more with a general cashback card.
