My Therapist Says I Should Talk Less About PayPal

Before PayPal, online shopping felt like handing my bank details to the internet and whispering, “Please be kind.” Now? I click PayPal and carry on with my day like the financially irresponsible queen I was born to be. PayPal has saved me from typing my card number approximately 47,000 times, prevented countless “Where has my money gone?” panic attacks, and made splitting bills with friends dramatically easier. No more chasing people for £4.73 from three weeks ago like a debt collector in a low-budget crime film. It’s fast, secure, and has become such a normal part of my life that if a website doesn’t offer PayPal, I immediately become suspicious. Who are these people? What are they hiding? In short, PayPal is like that reliable friend who always shows up on time, never causes drama, and quietly sorts everything out while everyone else is still arguing over whose turn it is to pay. 10/10. My thumbs have typed fewer numbers, my stress levels are lower, and my online shopping habits remain gloriously unchecked. Reviewed on: 9th June 2026
