Clear, concise with budget protection built in...

Clear, easy to understand and they don't allow you to go overboard on your spending with this scheme. You know exactly what you are going to pay for the next three months, no interest and a great way to temporarily, reliably spread medium purchases that you find yourself occasionally needing. But, you are not automatically accepted for this - even if under your credit limit - there I somewhere an algorithm which ensures you don't end up with huge, unwieldy monthly payments - which is oh so easy to do, and this ensures you have to think carefully first before using the service, perfect for those times when the ads have you wanting more! Easy to use, but statements could be clearer...

I find PayPal easy to use, setting up is easy and arranging various ways of paying easy. Giving an extra layer of confidentiality to my purchases too, avoiding using my bank account details in these days is always a bonus. Main downside is I wish the statements were easier to figure out - with a mix of purchases, some interest free etc, trying to figure out what to pay each month to avoid paying interest becomes a rather complex math problem. So, using it to help long term purchases is complicated unfortunately. Overall, I would still recommend, just ensure you keep on top of it - like anything really, don't overspend!
