Wholeheartedly recommend PayPal.

I have twice had issues with businesses that I'd paid using PayPal. PayPal fought my corner when those goods and services weren't as described and I got my money back. I'm not really much of a credit user but I have used PayPal Credit a few times to take the strain off one month into the next before I pay off, this has helped my credit score as well.
