Community Banks that serve Communities not themselves!

I was introduced to Cambrian Savings by my father to whom I will always be grateful. I mainly use it as a savings vehicle, however I have heard many good things about its value as a loans provider for those in need, thankfully I’ve been luckier than most in not requiring that aspect of their service. I did come across an offer of a limited savings increase on a new account. Requesting to join I was told the forms would be sent in the post. Sadly, the post office had recently changed their rates on certain sized envelopes which meant the forms were undervalued postage wise, for which I was charged the princely sum of £5! I explained the situation to Cambrian who very kindly refunded my postal charge and offered a £10 goodwill gesture for the inconvenience. What’s not to like in Customer Service like that.
