Review of the Monmouthshire Building Society, Savings:

No great points to make

As a saver i find the interest rates paid are lower than average. Also things like annual interest for tax purposes being provided by letters which this year has been delayed many times and still not available at 26th June. Tried applying for a new account late last year and despite being an existing customer had to wait for a letter before the account could be opened on line and which never turned up. We try to remain competitive with our interest rates and as a mutual building society it's important that we consider both savings and mortgage customers. We apologise that you haven't received your annual interest letter and your new account letter last year. We're working to improve the services that we offer our customers and your feedback will help to shape how we communicate with our customers in the future.
