Review of the Vanquis, Credit builder credit card:

Great service from a great team ...

I was granted my first Vanquis credit card back in 2016 and, since then, it has been a real boon. My credit score is now at its highest (999), and Vanquis must take credit (if you will excuse the pun!) for a large part of that. Their mobile App makes managing my account very easy - for example, varying the amount I repay monthly, be it a fixed sum or some percentage of the balance. All-in-all, a great service, especially given that, in extremis, one can talk to a real live human being over the phone! :) Reviewed on: 2nd July 2026
