Motorcycle across the Himilayas

I booked a trip to motorcycle across the Himilayas last August and the foreign office advised against travel due to skirmishes on the borders. The trip was to go ahead,we weren't staying close to the area concerned. But standard insurance was removed. High risk was recommended to and they quickly arranged a quote to give me the cover I needed. The cost was much less than I had expected. They were easy to deal with, obviously experienced at providing correct cover and advice..I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Reviewed on: 12th August 2026

Bucket list trip,motorbiking in Himilayas

I had booked a bucket list trip to ride a motorbike across the Indian Himalayan mountains and skirmishes broke out between Pakistan and India. My usual insurance would not cover me and the trip was imminent..High Risk Voyager was recommended and I found the process of obtaining insurance cover really straight forward..My trip went ahead without incident. And what an amazing experience to ride at high altitude on Royal Enfields. Without the cover provided, my trip would have been curtailed and I would have lost my deposit.
