An apt review for PayPal

It's fine to use for credit, but you need to make a note of the dates when PayPal will take payments from your account. Otherwise, you might forget, and if there isn't enough money in your account when the payment is due, PayPal won't always try to collect it again before charging a £12 missed payment fee. This can even happen while you're repaying your balance or after you've already made payments towards clearing it. Reviewed on: 7th July 2026
