More than a bank, it is a brand you can get obsessed with

Banking is SO boring - but not with Starling. I switched a year ago and won’t go back to brick-and-mortar. I love how analytical I can get about my spending, love how cool the card looks and love the design in the app! Starling seems like an approachable brand that speaks my language. Plus, Anne Boden is an absolute legend, a woman CEO who is truly inspirational! Reviewed on: 1st March 2021

A banking app designed for shoppers with smarts, savvy and style

Signed up for a card after a very efficient and good-humoured customer service chat experience. I could use the mobile app almost instantly, with the card arriving in no time and in elaborate packaging made me feel special. The app is superb - the user interface is simple but very effective, the spending categories are cleverly segmented and push notifications are perfectly informative and not at all pushy. It’s a breath of fresh air. Before Starling I banked with an established British bank whose mobile banking app could only do the basics - no spending categorisation, no savings pots. I haven’t left the bank altogether yet (joint account and savings builder account remain) but my day to day spending is fully Starling and I love it! Reviewed on: 6th November 2019
