Good service, questionable company.

PayPal has been a smooth experience for me personally. I've never really had a need to use their customer service, so I can't comment on the quality of it. I've marked them down as there have been many occasions of people having their money withheld, and they've made some rather unsavoury comments about their intent to censor people and seem politically active as a company, which no money service should be. I wouldn't say there's really much reason to use the service other than that it is very widely used. Their recent money back scheme goes a little way to assuage that. Reviewed on: 8th July 2026
