Monzo are the best bank. Hands down.

I'm ex-staff with one of the major high street banks, and have held accounts with several others. They're all bogged down with the same issues that come with legacy banking. Monzo have approached every step with fresh eyes and no ties. The result has been agile, accessible banking that lend confidence to the consumer not because of bricks and mortar, but because of their very absence. Everything from their excellently put together app and push notifications, to their reimagining of the online SecureCode verification popup, is tailor-made for the modern consumer. Like any bank, Monzo have hit a few snags along the way. What differentiates this bank is their honesty, transparency and the immediacy of their updates. If something goes wrong, their customers know precisely what it was, why it happened, and what action has been taken. This refreshing manner of communication is engaging and hits exactly the right pitch to keep customers on side. I am convinced Monzo are the best back, hands down. Reviewed on: 12th November 2019
