Review of the Ripe Insurance, Motorhome insurance:

At first it seemed reasonably good despite their computer system crashing and the hard working David having to fill in the whole form again. But three days later I received a call from them saying that a typo had resulted in the policy being £5 cheaper and I needed to pay that. I suggested that waiving the £5 would be correct in these circumstances, but that was apparently not possible. They were still the cheapest no-frills policy, but do strike me as a bit unprofessional. David (who dealt with me) was clear, and worked hard despite the company and systems not being supportive to his work. I suspect the organisation is just another bureaucratic money-grabbing entity with bigwigs paid far more than they are worth, and a lack of investment in equipment and employees.
