Efficient service providing exactly the right product for me.

Our regular savings account had come to the end of the term and with no offer of a further account being offered I decided to look for a reasonably local Building Society who could offer such an account. The Mansfield fit my requirements exactly and offered a good rate. I contacted my local branch, discussed my requirements with a very pleasant staff member and received the application form the following day. Two days later calls were received from the Branch to discuss our understanding of the account and other compliance issues and were told the account would be opened and the passbooks issued by post. Early impressions by phone and in branch

Initial phone call to Mansfield resulted in no follow up and no paperwork received. Visit to local Chesterfield branch - helpful friendly staff who sorted my needs efficiently. Reviewed on: 4th February 2021

Good overall service and products

Mansfield have provided a good level of service throughout the mortgage and I was able to re-mortgage a number of times with Mansfield to take advantage of cheaper deals. Whenever I had a need to speak to someone they have always been very helpful. The one downside that I have had was when I paid a lump sum that took me below the threshold for getting a new deal and I was then stuck on SVR for a few years. Mansfield need to make their mortgage offers available to all customers regardless of the amount of outstanding. Reviewed on: 4th February 2021
