HIDDEN COSTS BAD SERVICE

So I had a representative of this company calling me today to inform me that they wanted more money for my annually paid policy. I have provided them with the documentation to prove my NCB but they are still insisting that I have less years than the documentation I have provided. I have insured many vehicles over the last 15 years and never had any hidden costs like this before. Also they expect the customer to pay the excess upfront to them in the event of a claim and not deduct this from the settlement. This would be a first time I have ever had that clause and is definitely not a way to treat customers in the event that they need to claim when they would be already in a position of distress. There are also hidden costs in the recovery they offer at £3 per mile and another lump sum upfront to get you home. I definitely will not take another policy with this company and I advise anyone thinking of using this company to look elsewhere. Reviewed on: 23rd July 2026
