Review of the Laka, Cycle insurance:

Great quote prices. Value. And cycling community.

I have a solid pretty fair monthly quote allowing me to get insurance covered for not just my one bike that I use most often as a work commute. My more expensive one worth £4,000. But also a second bike as part of the insurance quote that I enjoy using for leisurely rides in my local area. No matter which bike I’m using I am currently covered for any damage unintentionally caused to either bike while I’m riding on the road for the chance that speeding drivers in my local area I’m covered if I’m spooked while on the bike and damage a part then the value of my bike is covered to be repaired and the same for any bike equipment I’ve got for commutes like a reliable chunky bike lock, pannier rack water bottle holder, phone case holder and also the digital display on the handlebar. The helmet I’m using and the bike lights I’ve bought to use on the bike when light begins to fade in the winter season on the way home from work. Or even for early mornings on the way to work so that I can be seen and ride safe. It’s also covered under my insurance quote paying a small fraction of the value of my items so that the value of the items I have can be covered by Laka if anything were to happen as a very worst case situation. Very reliable and supportive insurance cover for me, my 2 bikes and the simple accessories / bike equipment I use often on rides. And on rare occasions paying maybe up to £5 more on my monthly bill to Laka is almost nothing because that covers another rider if they had an accident by getting members to collectively chip in just that little bit so that another cyclist is also covered and supported by the community for any accident they might have or near miss with something and can easily replace a part getting the bike serviced having just that little extra gifted to them. And because cyclists are often pretty safe on the road paying the £5 extra I don’t have to worry about on my bill because it’s only gone off once out of the 6months - 12 months I’ve been using Laka as my Bike insurance provider.
