Exceptional customer support and help.

We had a slightly complicated savings account to set up remotely. Larger banks had not been helpful, giving us incorrect or misleading advice, and we were getting frustrated with the big corporate approach of getting a different person each time and having to start from scratch with them. Our experience with Bath Building Society was completely different and a breath of fresh air in comparison. I had some queries, and spoke to a very helpful person on the phone. In addition, I had several queries about the process and emailed customer support a number of times. Lauren, who was the customer support person I dealt with, was very very helpful, taking me through the process step-by-step, very clearly explaining each point without being patronising, and even had the patience to explain something in a different way.
