Review of the Triodos Bank, Current Account:

Unquestionably the best bank

Before I joined Triodos, I realised that my many efforts to live ethically were pretty much undone when my old bank was investing my money in oil & gas, fracking or arms trading. The only way to stop that was to move my money to a bank that invests only in positive things. The main worry for moving to an online bank was that without a local branch, would I be stuck if I had to pay in a check or ask a difficult question? Thankfully, their customer service is outstanding. Being a comparatively small bank there is rarely a waiting time on the phone and posting cheques (for free!) was easier than going into a branch anyway. They've been very quick to help me out every time. If anyone with vaguely ethical tendencies is considering moving their money away from the big high street banks I would highly recommend Triodos.
