Just like a local coffee shop

As a rule, going into a High Street Bank can be foreboding and oppressive but going into the Newbury Building Society is like going into the local coffee shop (but without the coffee) for a chat with friends. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2024

A Shining Example

I had been tied in with a [very] well known high street bank since I was 18 (I'm just 8 months away from 70 now) and found myself becoming increasingly frustrated with the way the bank didn't [seem to] want move with the times. In 2017 I found Starling. What a breath of fresh air: Everything I want in the palm of my hands with all activities within the account unreliably intuitive.I now have a Personal Account and a Business Account with Starling and have absolutely no desire to switch to any other bank Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

A proper bank for the 21st Century

Starling bank, both both business and current really couldn’t be simpler & straightforward with everything you want literally at your fingertips. A real modern bank for modern people: even this 66 year old modern person :-) Reviewed on: 3rd January 2020
