"Does what it says on the tin"

I know, I know, it's a lazy cliché but that's exactly what I want from my business bank. To do what I need it to do, quickly, intuitively and without fuss. It's a year on from my last review and the sentiment remains he same. The few times I've needed help, online support has been on-the-ball, and sorted my query within a short time. No lengthy waits on a phone playing awful "musac". Fees are an important element to me as a small business and their continued support for free business banking is a winner in my book. But, to be fair, I'd even accept (small!) transactional charges for the rest of benefits they've provided me. I can only thank NatWest for dumping their small business accounts unceremoniously and forcing my hand to look around. I haven't looked back! Reviewed on: 18th February 2021

Streamlines my banking

I'm a sole trader who does all the banking for my business. I moved from a High Street bank to Starling primarily because I was becoming increasingly disillusioned with the service, the cost and the poor online experience. Moving to Starling was straightforward and the responsiveness of the support team impressive from the get-go. The mobile app was clear, simple to use and integrated nicely with my accounting s/w. The platform evolves quickly to meet small business needs which tells me they're listening to their customers - in stark contrast to my old bank. No regrets whatsoever and probably the smartest decision I made last year! Reviewed on: 3rd January 2020
