Review of the Starling Bank, Business account:

So easy, fast, friendly and no hassles.

I joined starting bank for my personal banking having seen the founder at a conference. I found the transfer service painless, and I was up and using my new bank in minutes, and received details of my bank card immediately, and the physical card in 2 days! So, when I was having issues with my previous business banking, where they locked me out of my internet banking and even worse, no one in customer services or the tech team could sort me out, after 6 weeks of no access, I decided to move over to Starling. Took 10 minutes to open a free business bank account for my ltd. I opened another business account 6 months later, to give me financial accountability - again, 10 minutes to free banking bliss. Customer support is always helpful, fast, and of course, as it is online, no tedious being on hold. The API links seamlessly into my chosen accounting software, and the app is well laid out generally to be very intuitive to use. Minor niggle, I'd love a PC web interface from when my phone runs out of battery and I'm not near a charger or if the app locks out after an update (has happened once in the last year, was easily sorted with an uninstall/reinstall) , but other than that, it's awesome!
