Best current account

Switched to a Starling current account from Barclays who I'd been with for many years. In just a few months I have been with Starling it has proven itself as the best bank for me. The customer service is always stellar; very easy to live chat with someone through the app. The Starling current account offers interest rates better than some savings accounts. The app is intuitive and easy to use which is essential with the nature of Starling as a bank. There are so many benefits including no fee for spending abroad, the marketplace filled with useful money oriented partners with more being added and seeing how exactly you spend your money which helps with budgeting. The spaces feature is a great substitute for a separate savings account as you can lock your money away, round up your spending and even customise the picture of each goal. Overall this is the best current account and Starling deserves continued recognition. Reviewed on: 11th January 2020
