Worth every penny.

At first I was dubious because a children’s bank account doesn’t charge fees to run it. However, it has been worth every penny. Over the years whenever my child has had a problem with the card the support by phone has been almost instant and efficient. It was reassuring to get texts when he was using the card in town, and to be able to set limits or remove them easily. He had a contactless card before we did! When his phone battery died on a day out with friends I could still see where he was because of purchase information. He has learned how to be sensible with the card and the chores function works well for motivation. Having a dashboard helped him to save money and check how he had spent it. He is now moving on to a building society account as he is 16 but learning about PIN numbers with gohenry and keeping his card safe has made the process painless. We will be sad to leave them as their customer service is lovely. Reviewed on: 18th January 2020
