A bank for the 21st Century

I decided to opt for Starling business banking as I needed to open an account quickly. It was so simple to do and the application and approval took minutes. Barclays on the other hand were ridiculous in that they’d made an appointment for me to pop into a branch, only to be told that it was the first stage in that it was to see when a business banking rep would be able to see me. So an appointment to make an appointment. I told them no thanks. That’s when I researched the challenger banks and I’m glad to say that Starling have lived up to their promise. The app is easy to use and allows me to do most transactions. There’s also someone to speak to should the need arise. But that’s rare. They’ve reinvented banking for this century. I see some of the older legacy banks are only now belatedly offering feature such as pin locking and card blocking via apps. Dinosaurs are what come to mind. I’ve recommended Starling to a few people. Don’t normally vote for things like this, but I’m a happy customer. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

Amazing and user friendly

App based back with real humans if you need them. My business bank account took 5 mins to open. I went to Starling after a bit of research after my abysmal experience with Barclays, who seemed to make it as hard as possible to get my business. Barclays made me an appointment to see a branch person, only for me to find that appointment was to verify my ID and then to make a further appointment with the new business team. At that point I said no thank you. Starling was simple to open an account with and the steps done via the app, simple to follow.
