Review of the Starling Bank, Current account:

the Most customer focused & forward thinking bank

I originally opened an account with Starling as I travel the world frequently and was severely let down whilst travelling by both my personal and business banks. So far Starling have surpassed my expectations and I am now using them as my regular current account, at home and whilst away. The user-friendly interface is a huge benefit of Starling, plus the savings services available e.g. round-up and the easy way to track spending. Of course the benefits to a traveller are invaluable such as push notifications rather than SMS to verify transactions. SMS verifications are useless when you are using a local SIM card of your current destination. The no-fees transactions when abroad put Starling head and shoulders above their competitors. Starling is a bank that is giving the customer of today what they are looking for. The world is becoming a smaller place and Starling is providing a much needed service to enable it.
