Great experience!

The only thing Starling needs is two major features that Monzo currently offers; Get your salary a day early, and the ability to sort direct debits/standing orders into ‘pots’ so that you can split your outgoings to come out of a separate space so as soon as you get paid, you can see how much money you have left to work with for the rest of the month. Been a customer since October and so far I have zero complaints. Moved from First Direct as I tried them for 6 months but wasn’t happy with how they handled pending transactions (the money would reflect in your “available balance” but the actual transaction wouldn’t appear for 2-3 days, and now I get a notification as soon as a payment is made!) Spaces is a nice feature in order to move money back and forward quickly, but having a DD/SO dedicated pot would make Starling the ultimate choice! Reviewed on: 27th January 2020
