Great to teach younger children about money

I have really felt that this has taught my son about money. In this digital world he rarely sees physical money so at the shops he was always wanting toys etc buying for him, not really thinking about the money it cost. By giving him his own pocket money on the card each week he is learning to work for his money through smaller tasks and save up for the things he wants. When we went to the shops the other day he wanted a toy and asked me for it. I said he would need to use his own money- he said “it’s not worth £20 of my money for that- I’d have to clean the animals out for two weeks and there is other stuff that’s more worth it for that price”. I was both shocked and a little proud as this card and the app has taught him the true value of money, where it comes from and how you have to work hard for it. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2020
