Worse bank ever

I have been stranded for more than 2 weeks without access to my cards and accounts because they are suspecting frais because of HMRC refund. I sent them straight away proofs that the payment was due to me. I am calling them every single day and the answer is « we are looking into your issue ASAP ». We have very different notion of ASAP if it takes more than 2 weeks to review a HMRC letter!!! I have been twittering them facebooking them, gone into branch several times but no one looks into my issue. So so poor and disappointing thinking that I have been banking with them for 5 years. The worse is that they blocked my account while I was in Spain and I had to cash alternative, I had to beg complete strangers for money for food and fraud public transport as I had no access to any funds. Completely outrageous when you think I have thousands of £ in ransom in my account. My Santander credit card is also not being paid due to the block so they are charging me a £12. Just realised my Netflix account has been disconnected because they are blocking everything out of my account. I have tried closing my account but it is not possible due to the « investigation ». Completely outrageous and unacceptable and no one has the decency to even contact me! I am furious!!! Reviewed on: 7th March 2020
