I am in the army so plane saver is a great way to save.

I am in the army so plane saver is a great way to save. It takes money straight from my wage and sends it into the account. This way I can totally forget about my plane saver account while I'm deployed or just whilst I am in work. Then when I do check I'm always surprised with the amount! I've used my savings to buy my first dog, investments in stocks and to treat myself. Reviewed on: 9th June 2025

Makes saving in the army easy

As a soldier it's hard to save but plane saver makes it easy. They take the agreed upon amount out of my wage and put it into saving in a nice easy to use app. Well worth it! Reviewed on: 13th June 2022

Easy saving for soldiers

Saving is hard for soldiers due to the life we live. We work hard and play hard and this means that at the end of the month we're eating tinned beans. I bet you're thinking "stop partying and save", but that's like telling a nun to stop praying. With Plane Saver, a amount of your choice is taken out each month straight from your wage and placed in an easy to use account. To be honest, often times I completely forget I even have an account. It just gets topped up each month and you can forget about it and trust in the credit union. I've currently saved almost 2,000£ and it only goes up. Soldier who greatly benifits from plane saver

I'm a serving soldier in the British Army and find it very hard to save money. However plane saver is taken directly from my wage and placed in a plane saver account out of the way. The app is very easy to use and the customer service is second to none. The loan inteest rates are brilliant too. Especially for soldiers. Reviewed on: 4th June 2020
