Accessing money

Saturday morning June 13th I have just been to the Andover branch to withdraw some money. Due to the current covid situation it is closed. I totally understand reduced hours in this situation but I think One of the days you should open should be a Saturday and close a different day ( or more) during the week. I use the building society for the pass book account it makes it easier to save with no hole in the wall access to your money. I’ve had to work all the way through this horrible situation and now can’t access my savings !! Reviewed on: 13th June 2020

Reply from Newbury Building Society Hi Lee, thank you for your feedback - we are extending our opening hours from today 15 June to 9am - 3pm during the week and Saturday mornings from 9am until noon. Apologies that you were not aware of the reduced hours - we emailed all members and have updated our website to reflect these changes. Response date: 15th June 2020
