Refreshingly fair, easy and accessible

Zopa was by far the lowest interest rate available when I checked (almost half that of my bank, who even said they were offering me a preferential rate as a longstanding customer), and the service has been easy and clear to use. I've taken out two loans with Zopa and would definitely be happy to take another one if needed. The early repayment option is also helpful - the whole thing feels refreshingly like a financial service that is designed to be helpful, rather than simply an exercise in extracting interest from the consumer. The peer-to-peer lending idea also makes it feel like a more human, accountable process. Reviewed on: 30th May 2017
