Unexpected help and advice.

When I had nowhere to turn for advice and help, one of the companies I was dealing with suggested STEPCHANGE. I don’t think I would have coped without their help. I felt they chased the wolves from my door. There aren’t enough superlatives to say how wonderful they are. I had a lot of change to deal with when they stepped in, taking my financial worry and making it a goal to aspire to. Without StepChange I don’t know where I’d be.

Without StepChange I don’t know where I’d be. From first contact they made me realise I wasn’t the only person in the country who had experienced overwhelming problems with finance. I have never known such empathy and patience and I’m grateful to them for helping my debt problems become something I can live with and see daylight for the future. Reviewed on: 15th May 2024

Helped when I was helpless.

To have knowledgeable and empathetic people to speak to when you’re in a deep hole with no way out is wonderful. Then those people help you realise you’re not alone with this problem, and throw down a rope to help you begin to climb out. My sanity and health was saved by STEPCHANGE and I’ll always be grateful. When I have my annual review, I’m stunned that for another year they’re prepared to help me. I know they step in on my behalf, but it feels like they step into battle on my behalf and someone’s on my side. I don’t care how corny that sounds, it’s my truth. Reviewed on: 8th July 2020
