The relief when your corned by debts through a DMP is immeasurable

On first viewing the DMP seemed impossible to complete, at all times Stepchange officers advice was fantastic, leaving nothing to chance. It was almost like having your own Encyclopaedia of debt solutions to hand. Reviewed on: 12th July 2023

From ultimate depression to some peace

Due to various problems I amassed a lot of debt on credit cards to the point that getting behind increased payments to these credit cards that took almost all of my state pension. I have never know such worry and did not know where or who to turn to. I searched the web for solution and at the same time my wife found an advert for Step Change. I contacted them with much fear. From the onset their staff controlled my fears and most importantly they were never judgemental. We discussed various options and when decided upon one they immediately guided me to get together all bill payments, creditors Totals and bank statements. Thereafter we agreed upon a budget topic by topic, submitted it to creditors etc for approval. When it was approved I have never felt soo relieved as at 74 the stress was taking its toll. Without any hesitation I would urge those who find themselves in financial troubles to contact Step Change as soon as possible. They are just a phone call away to discus problems and help as needed.Thank you Step Change you gave my wife and I part of our life back. Reviewed on: 9th July 2020
