Glasgow Credit Union

I’ve been saving with Glasgow credit union for over a year now, and I have recommended a number of people to them. I’m a self employed hairdresser, they have always had my back through getting my small business up and running to helping me understand my finances better. A direct debit taken from my account every month and safely stored away, I trust them more than my own bank. Smart, funny and very helpful staff when I’ve been in branch and even on the phone, I’ve never had a problem with my account or the range of services they offer, and neither has anyone I’ve recommended. Down to earth, real people! Not over the phone “ please press one for option one” palaver I get with everyone else. The range of services they have to offer is amazing, as a self employed under 25 year old I’ve been worried about getting a mortgage, however they offer a fabulous “ 0% mortgage” service which I have looked into, questioned and had it explained to me in detail, what it actually is. Could not recommend them enough! As well as in branch and over the phone they even have a members only site on their page, which allowed me fast access to my money, which is great when my anxiety is through the roof and I can’t talk to someone on the phone!
