Outdated application process using a poorly designed form

Too much information required over 2 pages resulting in very small font size and insufficient space to hand write required information such as "opening balance". Have recently opened numerous accounts with various financial institutions and this was by far the most outdated and cumbersome. Have a look at NS&I, Starling Bank, Paragon, Charter Bank or many others who all follow a similar process to each other resulting in a much better customer experience. Maximum balance restriction on "Welcome To Newbury" account could be made more prominent and disappointing you have to have the account for a year before you can open a higher rate account.
