Subpar

Poor customer service, no matter how small the problem it was always a hassle to the get it sorted. When I tried to switch from a current account to a student account I had to wait three weeks and then was told I was not eligible for a student account, I walked into Barclays and within an hour I had a student account set up. Basic no thrills student account

Pros- + Online banking is very good. + Mobile app is easy to use. +Plenty of branches +Security procedure is very efficient although at times can be tedious. Cons- -£200 overdraft was much less than other banks. -Trying to increase overdraft is a hassle -Few perks, no freebies or rewards. Overall – Would recommend if you’re after a basic easy to use student account. Reviewed on: 6th October 2014
