Great for low mileage drivers

I joined because other insurers ramped up my price as soon as I hit 70, despite driving fewer miles. When I called to check their offer was genuine, I found the customer reps were friendly and welcoming. They explained the principle that they use to insure all drivers and the quote for my Jaguar came in around £200 cheaper. The base price plus a pence per mile charge works brilliantly for me. I changed for a brand new plug in hybrid and the renewal costs went DOWN. That’s a first in all my years of driving. I renewed and it was even cheaper

I have definitely saved money over my previous insurers, and they were the cheapest I could find after much research. Sadly, as I grew older they just bumped up the prices even though I had no claims. ByMiles didn’t do that and, after a change of car to a brand new plug in hybrid, they were cheaper than my older car. It’s a great way to insure if you don’t drive lots of miles. Great idea

Why pay high prices when you don’t drive average mileage. I got angry at the hike in process when I reached 70 and I am really glad I found ByMiles. I have already signed up 2 friends and the £50 free miles reward for both parties is a great idea. Thanks Reviewed on: 11th August 2020
