Terrible experience with the add on breakdown cover

Broke down 100 miles away from home and had to pay over £3 a mile to take me home. They only took me for a maximum of 30 miles and I had to get on the back of 3 different tow trucks for 1 journey home. All of the tow trucks take hours to arrive and It took around 8 hours to get to the garage and then they wouldn’t take me onward to my home address and I was faced with a 1 hour walk home at the end.
